Morning Chorus

Les, one of our gardeners, was able to come to work in the garden by himself during the Covid restrictions. He lives nearby and travels by cargo bike – often with his young son.

One of the many notable things about lockdown was the almost complete absence of noise from motor vehicles, planes and helicopters. This meant that the natural sounds of the garden, particularly the birds, were much clearer.

One day Les recorded the morning chorus. This is it. You can hear magpies, blackbirds, wrens and blue tits.
